China-Europe Railway Express operating from Wuhan during the National Day&Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday
The freight trip No. 75133 of China-Europe Railway Express (Wuhan) comprising 53 carriages loaded with auto parts, LCD television components and other goods, departed from Wujiashan Station in Hanxi Train Operation Depot of China Railway Wuhan Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wuhan Railway) at 17:42 on October 7. It will exit China via the Port of Khorgos and proceed to Chukursay, Uzbekistan. Two additional services, X8015 and X8017, are scheduled to depart on the morning of October 8 for Poland and Germany, marking the successful conclusion of the Wuhan-based China-Europe Railway Express program during the National Day & Mid-Autumn Festival holiday period in 2025.
As both the originating and destination station for the China-Europe Railway Express operations in Wuhan, Wujiashan Station maintained robust activity throughout the holiday. According to Wang Youneng, the head of Station, the facility dispatched 12 westbound freight trains during the period, carrying products ranging from auto parts, textiles, and machinery equipment to hardware tools, LCD monitors, household appliances, daily necessities, toys, and garments. Meanwhile, five eastbound return trains brought back industrial materials and consumer goods including pulp boards, wheat flour, and kraft paper, effectively supporting domestic production needs of relative enterprises and enriching holiday market supply.
During the National Day & Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Wujiashan Station of Wuhan Railwaycollaborated with multiple entities, including Wuhan Railway Logistics, Wuchangnan Locomotive Depot, Wuhan Central Station of China United International Rail Containers, Asia-Europe Logistics Co., Ltd., and Wuhan Customsto guarantee both safety and punctuality through strengthened transport coordination, around-the-clock operations and optimized workflows.The China-Europe Railway Express (Wuhan), noted for its reliability and efficiency, has become a vital channel for “Hubei-made” and “China-made” products to access international markets. Simultaneously, it boosts domestic market supply and strengthens the role of rail transport in fostering a new development paradigm.
To date, the network route covering China-Europe Railway Express (Wuhan) has expanded to 120 cities across 40 countries in Eurasia. The range of shipped goods has also diversified, evolving from early electronic products to include new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products, further reinforcing the service’s role in supporting regional economies and export-oriented industries.
