New Air Freight Link Launched Between Nanjing and Warsaw

NANJING, September 28 (Chinanews.com) – By Reporter Gu Mingxin

A Boeing 747 freighter (Flight Y87431) carrying 103 tons of cross-border e-commerce products, medical supplies, and bulk commodities such as display control panels, power components, and microcatheters departed from Nanjing Lukou International Airport in the early hours on September 28, inaugurating a new international cargo route connecting Nanjing and Warsaw.

Operated by Suparna Airlines, the route will initially operate once per week, with plans to increase frequency to 2 to 3 weekly flights in the near future. Boeing 747 or 777 freighters will be deployed for the service.This marks the first regular all-cargo flight route linking Nanjing with Warsaw, Poland’s capital, and the second internationalrouteof the same kind launched this year by Nanjing Lukou International Airport, strengthening the airport’s global cargo network for all-cargo flight.

In recent years, Nanjing Lukou International Airport has been steadily advancing its capacity as an international air logistics hub. It currently offers freighter services to intercontinental destinations including Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Chicago, New York City, and Mexico City, as well as Asian routes such as Dhaka and Seoul.
