CCTV News: China's Trade Volume with CEECs Reached a Record High in H1

Customs data shows that in the first half of this year, China's total trade with CEECs amounted to 522.88 billion yuan, marking a 6.8% year-on-year increase and setting a new historical record for the period. In June, the China-CEEC Trade Index reached 407.29, achieving an all-time high.

The China-CEEC Trade Index serves as a barometer for bilateral commerce. This comprehensive statistical system evaluates trade dynamics through three dimensions: trade volume, trade composition, and trading partners. Utilizing the unit value method with customs trade data, it generates price indices that reflect the evolving trade relations between China and CEECs.
