Just after the Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse, Ningbo Customs has swiftly launched its "Spring Farming Protection Mode" by leveraging the "Qinqing Express Train · Enterprise Needs, Customs Response" enterprise support mechanism and opening a green channel for spring farming agricultural materials.

Recently, a batch of 621 tons of compound fertilizer from Huaken International Trading Co., Ltd. was smoothly cleared by Ningbo Customs. Yilina, Deputy General Manager of the company, said: "Before the Spring Festival, Ningbo Customs officers proactively contacted us to understand our import plans and helped us pre-review the documents through an appointment-based overtime mechanism. As soon as the ship docked, inspection and release were immediately carried out, almost achieving 'zero waiting.' This not only saved our logistics costs but also gave us more confidence in ensuring this year's spring farming production."

Addressing the time-sensitive and urgent nature of spring farming materials, Ningbo Customs actively guides enterprises to adopt paperless operations such as "online declaration" and "electronic payment." At the same time, it encourages enterprises to independently use various fast customs clearance modes, including two-step declaration, advance declaration, and guarantee release, to ensure the timely inspection and release of agricultural materials.

In January, Ningbo Customs reviewed and released 12 batches of imported fertilizers, pesticides, and other agricultural materials, with a total value of 11.373 million yuan, representing year-on-year increases of 20.0% and 30.5% respectively.

"The post-holiday period is a critical time for spring farming production. Building on our efficient customs clearance of livelihood materials during the Spring Festival, we have quickly shifted our focus to spring farming preparations, implementing appointment-based customs clearance and priority review and release measures to ensure that fertilizers, pesticides, and other materials are inspected upon arrival and released quickly," said Che Yanhong, Section Chief of the Import Section of Haishu Customs, an affiliated office of Ningbo Customs.
