Wuhan, November 16 (China News Service)–By Liang Ting, Xu Chen–A shipment of construction and decoration materials, transported via one of Wuhan's China-Europe Freight Trains, arrived in Arad, Romania today. The consignment departed China through the Alashankou border crossing, traversing Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, and Poland. Utilizing Budapest, Hungary, as a distribution hub, the goods were then directly routed to Arad by rail.

The launch of this new route marks a key breakthrough for the China-Europe Railway Express (Wuhan) in expanding its global logistics network. It establishes an efficient new logistics corridor for trade between Hubei and Central and Eastern European (CEE) regions. The new service provides a robust, "low-cost, high-efficiency" cross-border supply chain for export enterprises. The construction and decoration materials transported via this route will be delivered promptly to Arad and its surrounding markets, contributing Hubei's support to local infrastructure development.

Wuhan Asia-Europe Logistics Co., Ltd., part of Hubei Port Group, also provides tailor-made "one-stop" supply chain solutions for enterprises. Various entities, including China Railway Wuhan Group Co., Ltd., Hankou Customs, China Railway Container Transport Corp., Ltd. (CRCT), and Wuhan Central Station, collaborated to manage cargo loading, customs declaration and clearance, and transportation logistics, ensuring the timely departure of trains.

As of now, the China-Europe Railway Express (Wuhan) operates 60 established cross-border transportation routes, extending its reach to 121 cities in 40 Eurasian countries. Moving forward, the China-Europe Railway Express (Wuhan) aims to further expand its logistics corridors and enhance service capabilities, facilitating the efficient and secure delivery of more "Made in Hubei" products to the European hinterland.
