News Report: Recently, under the efficient supervision of Tianjin New Port Customs under Tianjin Customs, 43,000 bottles of imported white beer from Poland were quickly cleared and released, and will be quickly sent to major supermarkets in Tianjin and Beijing.

As the cicadas in Tianjin gradually chirp and the temperature continues to rise, cold beer has become a great way for consumers to cool off. German mellow dark beer, Belgian-style craft beer, Danish classic beer... Specialty beers from all over the world are continuously entering my country's market through Tianjin Port. Since the beginning of summer, beer imports at Tianjin Port have continued to rise, and the consumer market has ushered in a golden period.

According to statistics, in the first half of this year, Tianjin New Port imported a total of 15.439 million liters of beer with a value of RMB 149 million, up 13.7% and 5.7% year-on-year respectively. The imports in June reached 2.264 million liters, up 7.5% year-on-year, showing a strong growth momentum.

"With the strong support of the customs, our beer customs clearance is very fast, which not only helps us seize the market opportunity, but also effectively maintains the freshness of the beer and ensures that the taste of domestic consumers is no different from the place of origin." Yang Ruijuan, Business Manager of Tianjin Xiangzhi Logistics Co., Ltd. introduced.

In view of the short shelf life and high storage and transportation temperature requirements of imported beer, Tianjin New Port Customs provides front-line services, actively connects with companies to understand their import plans based on the needs of companies, and provides "one-to-one" policy consulting services. At the same time, it guides companies to make good use of facilitation measures such as "advance declaration" and "two-step declaration", and assist them in making preliminary preparations such as label pre-examination and certificate reference to improve customs clearance efficiency. In addition, the customs implements the "5+2" appointment inspection mechanism to ensure that goods are inspected as soon as they arrive and released after passing the inspection, thereby minimizing the length of time that goods stay at the port.

While making every effort to ensure the speed of customs clearance, Tianjin New Port Customs has not relaxed its supervision of the quality and safety of imported beer. The customs officers strictly check key items such as goods container numbers, lead seal integrity, official health certificates, and Chinese label compliance, and conduct sampling tests on beer as required, focusing on alcohol content, microbial indicators, additive use and other indicators to ensure that every bottle of imported beer meets my country's food safety standards.

In the next step, Tianjin New Port Customs will continue to improve the customs clearance guarantee plan for imported beer and introduce more targeted convenience measures to ensure that this "cool channel on the tip of the tongue" is efficient and unobstructed. (Correspondent: Zhao Lijie)
