According to an announcement on January 15 from the Shijiazhuang International Dry Port, the China-Europe Railway Express service based there set a new annual record in 2025 by completing 1,282 trips. This figure marked a year-on-year surge of 52.8 percent and represented the highest volume for any comparable period, solidifying its position as the leading hub for the service in North China.

The Shijiazhuang-based China-Europe Railway Express network currently links 10 border ports via 18 international routes and serves more than 50 countries and regions, operating an average of three to four trains per day.

The Shijiazhuang International Dry Port has been actively developing new corridors to expand the network of the China-Europe Railway Express. In 2025, the port inaugurated the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region's first full-timetable China-Europe Railway Express service from Shijiazhuang to Warsaw, Poland, achieving a reduction in transit time of over 30 percent. The same year also saw the launch of two new rail-sea-rail multimodal services, namely the "Huanghua Port-Shijiazhuang International Dry Port-Moscow" and the "Shijiazhuang-Port of Piraeus (Greece)". These new routes further integrate land and maritime corridors, forming a more seamlessly integrated and extensively connected international intermodal network.

Complementing thisexpending logistics ecosystem, the Shijiazhuang International Dry Port has implemented innovative service models such as the integrated "Railway Express Clearance + Direct Transshipment at the Border", multi-commodity consolidation, and rail-road multimodal transport. It has also partnered with 107 distinct industrial clusters across Hebei Province to establish forward warehouses. These facilities streamline key supply chain processes, including transshipment, cargo consolidation, and Customs clearance. As part of this logistics network, the total number of cross-border warehouses operated in the Hebei Land Port system has now reached 31.
