The Regulation also provides requirements for the introduction into the Union territory of Rosa spp. plants other than seeds, originating in third countries, as well as for official checks to be conducted at their introduction into the Union. |

Therefore, it is appropriate to provide urgently for those measures in this Regulation (EU) 2022/1265 to ensure continued protection of the Union territory from the Rose Rosette Virus. |
