According to Nanjing Customs statistics, in the first eleven months of this year, Jiangsu Province's goods trade imports and exports reached 5.09 trillion yuan, setting a historical record for the same period. This marks a year-on-year growth of 6.9%, which is 2 percentage points higher than the national average, and accounts for 12.8% of China's total import and export value during the same period. Of this, exports totaled 3.29 trillion yuan, up 7.7%, and imports amounted to 1.8 trillion yuan, increasing by 5.3%.
In the first eleven months, general trade imports and exports in our province accounted for nearly 60%, with the share of processing trade increasing. Our province's imports and exports through general trade reached 2.89 trillion yuan, growing by 6%, and accounted for 56.8% of the province's total foreign trade. During the same period, processing trade imports and exports totaled 1.64 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.9%. Imports and exports from both private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises continued to grow. In the first eleven months, imports and exports by our province's private enterprises reached 2.3 trillion yuan, growing by 8% and driving the province's overall import and export growth rate by 3.6 percentage points. This accounted for 45.2% of Jiangsu Province's total foreign trade. Imports and exports by foreign-invested enterprises reached 2.39 trillion yuan, increasing by 6.9%, and accounted for 46.9% of the province's total foreign trade.
Imports and exports with Belt and Road Initiative partner countries have significantly increased, with their share growing. In the first eleven months, our province's imports and exports with Belt and Road Initiative partner countries reached 2.26 trillion yuan, growing by 10.3%.
