These Measures are formulated in accordance with the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, the Tariff Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine, the Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant laws and administrative regulations to regulate customs supervision over inbound and outbound luggage and articles, maintaining national security and facilitating port customs clearance.
