During the 6th China-CEEC (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Forum, the China-CEEC SME Cross-border Matchmaking Conference was held in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province on November 8, co-hosted by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province, Cangzhou Municipal People's Government, and Bank of China Hebei Branch.
With the theme of "Deepening Cooperation and Sharing Opportunities", this matchmaking conference adopts a combination of online and offline forms, and sets up overseas sub-venues in Poland and Germany for the first time, aiming to strengthen economic and trade exchanges between SMEs from China and CEECs and promote win-win cooperation. The Matchmaking Conference has attracted nearly 300 domestic and foreign merchants from 16 countries and regions such as Romania, Poland and Bulgaria, covering equipment manufacturing, new energy, clothing, food and other industries.
During the matchmaking conference, Bank of China Hebei Branch, relying on the global matching platform of "Huiruyuan · Win-win with BOC E-banking", has carried out 93 rounds of "one-to-one" precise negotiations for participating enterprises, providing them with one-stop comprehensive services such as business opportunity exploration, negotiation and cooperation implementation. A total of 48 cooperation intentions have been reached on site, with an intended amount of USD 138 million, effectively promoting participating enterprises to integrate into the global supply chain and value chain and achieving win-win development.
Since 2018, China-CEEC (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Forum has been successfully held for six sessions. During the forum last year, the Bank of China held the first cross-border matchmaking conference, which became one of the key supporting activities. The success of this matchmaking conference has further promoted the pragmatic cooperation between China and CEEC SMEs to a new level.
