According to customs statistics, the import and export, import, and export trade indices of China-CEEC for July were 374.62, 283.00 and 417.68 respectively, up 33.84, 54.81 and 23.99 from the same period last year, among which the import trade index hit a record high.
In terms of commodity structure, China's imports of automobiles, auto parts and metal ores from CEEC increased by 63.7%, 46% and 48.9% year-on-year respectively, driving the total imports from CEEC to increase by 17.8 percentage points.
In terms of trading partners, July was the first month when the China-Serbia Free Trade Agreement was implemented. The import and export, import, and export trade indices of China-Serbia were 1544.90, 2188.97 and 1317.23 respectively, up 483.08, 635.29 and 429.28 respectively compared with the same period last year, among which the export trade index hit a record high.
