It was learned from Ningbo Customs District P.R.China (Ningbo Customs) yesterday that from January to February 2023, the economic and trade cooperation between Ningbo and CEEC has made a good beginning. Ningbo's imports from CEEC reached RMB 2.69 billion, up 84.9% year on year.
Among them, automobiles, copper and other raw materials and agricultural products are the main imported goods. Take automobiles as an example. From January to February, the import value of automobiles (including chassis) from CEEC reached RMB 1.86 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1.8 times.
During the same period, CEEC's special products such as cosmetics from Romania, amber products from Poland and crystalware from the Czech Republic have also been sold to the whole country from Ningbo.
"Most of our imports are well-known brands and competitive products from CEEC, such as the moisturizing essence and anti-wrinkle cream of Gerovital, a Romanian cosmetic brand. In order to further support CEE's foreign economic and trade cooperation, Ningbo Customs has continued to implement 14 detailed measures to help build China-CEEC Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone, withspecific services for customs clearance ofCEEgoods for import and export enterprises. First of all, Ningbo Customs provides one-to-one professional guidance on customs declaration and timely answers to common problems from enterprises about commodity classification and standardized declaration. Then, Ningbo Customs tracks the whole process of customs clearance and logistics of goods and implements a working mechanism of "customs clearance by appointment" and "green channel" for CEE goods to strengthen the emergency disposal of customs clearance of goods.
It is reported that from January to February, the overall customs clearance time for import and export between Ningbo Port and CEEC was about 25.91 hours and 0.48 hours, down 41.28% and 85.92% year-on-year respectively, ensuring the smooth round-the-clock customs clearance of CEE import and export goods.
