Description of content: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2393 erroneously repealed Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1416, since the use of sodium bisulphate should remain authorised until 10 September 2025 for aquatic animals in the functional group 'preservatives', and for food-producing aquatic animals in the functional group 'acidity regulators'.

This is corrected by the presentImplementing Regulation (EU) 2025/181, which deletes the provision of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2393 repealing Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1416 and instead amends that Implementing Regulation to specify the animal categories for which the use of sodium bisulphate remains authorised until 10 September 2025.

This correction applies retroactively from the date of entry into force of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2393.
