Description of content:The notification concerns the authorisation of the preparation of Pediococcuspentosaceus DSM 32292 as a feed additive for all animal species, classified in the additive category 'technological additives' and in the functional group 'silage additives'. The European Food Safety Authority concluded in its opinion of 29 June 2022 that, under the proposed conditions of use, the preparation of Pediococcuspentosaceus DSM 32292 does not have an adverse effect on animal health, consumer safety or the environment. As the assessment of the preparation of Pediococcuspentosaceus DSM 32292 shows that the conditions for authorisation, as provided for in Article 5 of Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003, are satisfied, the preparation was authorised. |
