Recently, under the supervision of Luquan Customs affiliated to Shijiazhuang Customs, a China-Europe Railway Express loaded with export goods in containers departed from Shijiazhuang International Land Port and was bound for overseas markets. These goods include three sets of fully mechanized underground mining equipment declared for export by Beijing Enterprise CITIC International Cooperation Co., Ltd., with a total value exceeding RMB 9 million.

Serving as a vital hub and the largest inland port hub for the China-Europe Railway Express in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Shijiazhuang International Land Port is sending an increasing number of products manufactured in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei across the globe on China-Europe Railway Express. These products range from traditional garments and household appliances to modern precision instruments and equipment. "The industrial foundation of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has supported the leapfrog development of land port hubs, and the development of land port hubs has also promoted the deep integration of industrial chain and logistics chain in this region. Automobiles, mechanical equipment and other products in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region are efficiently exported at land ports through China-Europe Railway Express, forming a two-way empowerment pattern of "industry + logistics", said Liu Jinpeng, General Manager of Shijiazhuang International Land Port.

In recent years, the rapid development of China-Europe Railway Express in Shijiazhuang International Land Port has driven the significant acceleration and diversified development of import and export products in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. To drive high-quality and sustainable development of international land port freight trains, Shijiazhuang Customs has implemented innovative customs clearance facilitation measures such as "rapid exit clearance, advance declarations, and direct rail loading". This has enabled the launch of the first multi-product consolidation service for China-Europe Railway Express in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and initiated the rail-road multimodal transport service for export goods. In January this year, Shijiazhuang International Land Port dispatched 125 China-Europe Railway Expresses with a value of RMB 1.43 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 5.9 times and 9.7 times respectively. Among them, the imports and exports from Beijing and Tianjin were worth RMB 130 million, a year-on-year increase of 1.4.

"As we enter the new year, our focus will be on fully supporting the high-quality development of Shijiazhuang International Land Port. We aim to enhance our matchmaking services and deeply engage in the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region," stated Wang Lei, Director of the Regulation and Comprehensive Business Department at Shijiazhuang Customs. The customs authority plans to concentrate on developing international land port logistics channels in Shijiazhuang. This includes further optimizing the supervision models for multimodal transport, expanding the scope of the 'Railway Fast Clearance' model, and advancing the establishment of a China-Europe Railway Express hub at the land port. Moreover, there will be efforts to accelerate leveraging the combined policy advantages of a 'China-Europe Railway Express + Bonded Logistics Center + Designated Supervision Site' to propel the high-quality development of an open economy in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
