News Report: Recently, under the supervision of Xiamen Customs, a batch of 3.7t of frozen seasoned seaweed successfully cleared customs and set off aboard a cargo ship to Slovenia. This marks the return of Fujian Province's aquatic products to the Slovenian market after a 15-year hiatus.

While Slovenia primarily focuses on freshwater aquaculture of aquatic products, Fujian Province boasts abundant marine resources and advanced processing technologies, catering to Slovenian consumers' demand for diverse and premium seafood.

"This export to Slovenia represents a new venture for us," a representative of Fujian Renxing Industrial Co., Ltd. remarked, "With the support of Xiamen Customs, our company obtained registration for exporting aquatic products to the EU last year. This year, we plan to make an initial foray into EU markets with small-scale shipments."

To facilitate the expansion of aquatic product exports, Xiamen Customs has been actively conducting the "Enter Thousand Enterprises, Solve Thousand Issues" initiative, engaging in thorough research and addressing businesses' customs clearance concerns. It was engaged in the following activities: Assist enterprises in aligning with foreign registration laws and standards, strengthening food safety and hygiene management systems, and proactively encouraging export food manufacturers to pursue international registration. Promote the use of the "China Customs Preferential Origin Service Platform" to provide companies with access to origin rules, policies, and regulations, while guiding them to maximize the benefits of preferential trade agreements. Develop customized support plans under the "one policy for one enterprise" approach to guide businesses in establishing a closed-loop management system encompassing product filing, breeding, processing, and export, thereby boosting product competitiveness in the market. Stay aligned with businesses' export schedules and offer facilitation measures, including "7×24 hours" appointment-based customs clearance, on-the-spot inspections, and instant release upon verification.
