People's Daily Overseas Edition, Xi'an, March 31 (Reporter Zhang Danhua) On the 31st, Shaanxi Xi'an Xianyang International Airport opened and encrypted five all-cargo routes from Xi'an to Europe. With this, the total number of international all-cargo routes from Xi'an reaches 32.
Among them, in partnership with Camex Airlines, four new all-cargo international routes were opened from Xi'an to Milan, Italy; Tbilisi, Georgia; Debrecen, Hungary; and Madrid, Spain. Additionally, the all-cargo international route from Xi'an to Budapest, Hungary, was encrypted in collaboration with Georgian Airways, accelerating the development of the "Air Silk Road".
It is estimated that the opening and encryption of these routes will transport more than 30,000 tons of international cargo throughout the year. The international cargo and mail throughput of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport in 2025 is expected to double compared with 2024, which will greatly enhance the status of Xi'an and Shaanxi in the field of international air cargo and build a more diversified, convenient and efficient air "bridge" for China-Europe economic and trade exchanges.
