Bilateral Trade Volume between China and Romania Hit Record in April

According to China Customs, from January to April 2024, the bilateral trade volume between China and Romania reached USD 3.93 billion, up 14.6% year-on-year (the same below), 12.4 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of China's imports and exports and 19.6 percentage points higher than the growth rate of China's trade with the EU. Among them, China's export to Romania was USD 2.84 billion, an increase of 14.6%, and import from Romania was USD 1.09 billion, an increase of 14.5%. In April, the bilateral trade volume between China and Romania reached USD 1.12 billion, hitting a record high in a single month. Among them, China's export to Romania was USD 760 million and import from Romania was USD 360 million.
