To protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and safeguard people's lives, health, and safety, according to the relevant provisions of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Import and Export Commodity Inspection and its implementation regulations, the General Administration of Customs decided to carry out spot checks on some import and export commodities other than those in the catalogue of commodities subject to statutory inspection from the date of the issuance of this Announcement.
