According to China Inspection and Quarantine Times, quail egg products produced by Yanjin Shop Food Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yanjin Shop") have successfully cleared customs and are en route to the European Union (EU). The 2,143.2-kilogram shipment, valued at 109,000 yuan, completed customs inspection and quarantine procedures, underwent laboratory testing, and obtained an animal health certificate. This marks the first export of egg products from Jiangxi Province to the EU market.

"We recently received good news from customs—our recommendation registration for egg product exports to the EU has been successfully approved. Among similar enterprises in Jiangxi, we are the first to complete the EU recommendation registration," said Yang Tao, General Manager of Yanjin Shop, with great pleasure. "Taking advantage of the Chinese New Year season, our company plans to begin exporting quail egg products to the EU as soon as possible, aiming to achieve strong performance at the start of the year."

To assist the company in successfully exporting its first batch of egg products to Europe, Jiujiang Customs, subordinate to Nanchang Customs, has tailored a customized "clearance guide" and is making full efforts to help the company seize the export window. Jiujiang Customs has taken proactive measures by conducting on-site research to help the company enhance its food safety and hygiene control system and implement self-inspection and self-control requirements in accordance with EU standards. Additionally, the customs authority has established a "green channel" for agricultural product exports and introduced facilitation measures including "pre-scheduled inspection plus immediate sample testing," further improving clearance efficiency. It has also advanced its preparation procedures, proactively coordinating matters related to animal health certificate issuance, closely monitoring updates to the animal health certificate template for egg products destined for the EU, verifying supporting documentation for supplementary terms, and achieving zero-wait certificate issuance upon successful completion of inspection and quarantine procedures.

"We plan to take quail egg products as the starting point and introduce our other proprietary snack products to the EU, gradually establishing brand presence," said Yang Bin, Product Manager of Yanjin Shop. According to statistics, in 2025, Yanjin Shop exported 55 metric tons of snacks including cod tofu and quail eggs, valued at 2.288 million yuan, with year-on-year increases of 367% and 382%, respectively.
