On the same day, Xinjiang Zhongzhi Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the operator of the Urumqi Bonded Display and Trading Center, signed an agreement with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber will not only supply Serbian products to the offline store on a long-term basis but also introduce goods from Central and Eastern European countries.
Zhang Yanfei, General Manager of Xinjiang Zhongzhi Digital Technology Co., Ltd., stated that the establishment of the offline store for Serbian goods in the Urumqi Bonded Display and Trading Center is a tangible result of the cooperation agreement reached between the Chinese and Serbian governments during the 7th China International Import Expo.
Chief Advisor to the Serbian Ministry of Economy and Trade and Executive President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce emphasized that Serbia, as a key participant in the Belt and Road Initiative, actively supports and anticipates deepening cooperation with China in areas such as trade facilitation and infrastructure connectivity.
According to Zhang Yanfei, after three months of upgrades, the Urumqi Bonded Display and Trading Center has reopened, now showcasing nearly 10,000 imported products from 66 countries and regions. These products span categories including food and beverages, beauty and skincare, maternity and baby care, kitchenware, tableware, clothing, footwear, and accessories.
Capitalizing on the unique advantages of the Urumqi Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the center aspires to become Xinjiang's most diverse and multifunctional import exhibition and sales hub.
