To fulfill international obligations, uphold peace and stability in Africa, and prevent the illegal trade of conflict diamonds, these provisions are established in accordance with the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Commodity Inspection, associated implementing regulations, other pertinent laws and administrative regulations, as well as the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 55/56 and the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.
