Announcement No. 27 [2025] of GACC and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs （Announcement on Preventing the Introduction of Bluetongue Disease from Slovenia into China）

On 13 February 2025, Slovenia urgently reported an outbreak of bluetongue disease to the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH). To safeguard China's animal husbandry industry and biological security, and prevent the introduction of these diseases, this Announcement is hereby issued in accordance with the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, the Biosafety Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine, and their implementing regulations.
