Description of content: This standard applies to the food additive calcium lactate which uses starch and sugar as raw materials, obtained through lactobacillus fermentation and direct extraction process, and obtained from the synthesis with lactic acid and calcium hydroxide (or calcium carbonate). It specifies the technical requirements and test methods for food additive calcium lactate.

If no, describe, whenever possible, how and why it deviates from the international standard: The different indexes of this standard are as follows: In this standard, Water solubility and volatile fatty acids should "Passes Test". Chloride (as Cl) ≤= 0.05%, Sulfate (as SO4) ≤ 0.075%, Fluoride (as F) ≤ 0.0015%, iron (Fe) ≤ 0.005%, the arsenic (As) ≤ 2 mg/kg, lead (Pb) ≤ 10 mg/kg, heavy metals (as Pb) ≤ 20 mg/kg, pH (1 in 20) is not required. The standard is consistent with the actual conditions of Chinese products.
