Description of content: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, identification and information provided by manufacturers of horizontal lifeline devices. This standard is applicable to horizontal lifeline devices used by operators whoes total weight is not exeeding 100 kg including carrying weight to prevent falling at high altitudes. This standard is not applicable to horizontal lifeline devices for fire fighting and sports.
