Joint Announcement No. 23 [2025] of the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs（On Preventing the Introduction of Peste des Petits Ruminants from Hungary into China）

Hungary recently notified the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) of a Peste des Petits Ruminants outbreak at a farm in Zala County. To safeguard China's animal husbandry industry and biological security, and prevent the introduction of these diseases, this Announcement is hereby issued in accordance with the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, the Biosafety Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine, and their implementing regulations.
